Beauty is a long term journey for woman around the world. It means overcoming oppression in some countries to allow woman the right to shine bright. In other countries where woman have freedom, there can still be a struggle with being free from criticism towards how we look or feel about ourselves based on our outer appearance.

True beauty means so much to me as a mother to daughters. I desire nothing more than for all the women in my circle of influence to feel good about who they are- that is true beauty. There is balance to it all. Much fun is found in the girly side of life- fashion, beauty products and self care is still part of my life. What matters is where we place all the weight. If our worth is only found in all that concerns the outside of us, we will lack putting value in where true beauty is found. Who we are in our hearts and in our thoughts towards ourselves and others is where our true beauty will shine.

Lets focus on encouraging healthy confidence and balance in our approach to beauty. God created each one of us to be beautiful, so let that true beauty shine bright.
